If you are receiving unemployment from the Michigan UIA you will often be interfacing with MARVIN. This is the automated phone system that the Michigan Unemployment Insurance system uses to process claims automatically by phone. You will need to contact MARVIN online or by phone every two weeks to check in and confirm your continued eligibility for Michigan UI benefits.

If you cannot get through via the MARVIN phone number try accessing MARVIN at the Michigan Unemployment website. You can contact MARVIN Thursdays and Fridays regardless of your scheduled time.
